Working with Clients with Multiple & Complex Issues

Many services are limited in their capacity to work with individuals who are experiencing multiple and complex issues, due to their challenging nature. Staff at HYPA work with individuals who may be experiencing homelessness, drug and alcohol issues, mental health, legal matters, and violent and aggressive behaviour. This workshop has been developed to provide participants with an opportunity to learn practical skills and techniques to enable participants to work successfully with individuals with these issues.

This workshop is suitable for…practitioners in the health and welfare fields wanting to extend their knowledge and skills to effectively work with clients experiencing multiple and complex issues.

Learning objectives:

Participants will:

  1. Have a greater understanding of the multiple and complex issues that individuals may be experiencing
  2. Have a greater knowledge of referral pathways for individuals who may be experiencing a range of issues
  3. Have increased skills and confidence to work with and manage individuals with multiple and complex issues
