HYPA™ for Organisations
HYPA™ accreditation enables organisations to be publicly recognised as an employer of choice for young professionals. This is a huge competitive advantage for organisations in the attraction, recruitment and retention of young professionals.
Young professionals will identify the HYPA™ logo as an endorsement that an organisation has been recognised as an employer of choice.
HYPA™ for Young Professionals
It doesn’t matter what career you wish to pursue – if you are motivated, driven and want to succeed – we consider you a ‘Young Professional’.
You may be studying at University, Tafe, completing year 12 or putting in your own hard work to follow your career dreams – whatever your path may be, make sure you think long and hard about what organisation you decide to apply for.
If you see an organisation displaying the HYPA™ logo, or hear that they are HYPA™ accredited, then you can be sure that they are a good place to work!
HYPA™ Mentoring
“Mentoring” has become something of a buzz-word in recent years. It appears to be the magic answer to solving problems with people.
Mentors come in all shapes and sizes. There are Life Coaches who help us live a richer life; workplace mentors who help us perform better; youth mentors who act as a positive role model; but who decides what is a “good” mentor?
What is a successful mentoring relationship?
Good Mentoring can make a crucial difference in the way an individual settles in and acclimatises to their new workplace, and can have a major bearing as to whether they choose to stay for the long term. When mentoring is done right, the results can be extraordinary and highly rewarding.
The Workplace Mentor Training program developed by HYPA™ will develop the Mentoring skills of staff through an in-depth Training Program and follow up Mentor Network Group meetings.
HYPA™ in the Community
Service to Youth Council (SYC) has been chosen as the official charity of choice for HYPA™. All surplus (profits) from HYPA™ are directed to support SYC to assist thousands of homeless and disadvantaged young people every year.
HYPA™ runs events to raise funds for SYC programs aimed at helping disadvantaged young people achieve.
An organisation that engages HYPA™ is not only becoming accredited to engage, retain and grow young professionals in their organisation, but is also ‘giving back to the community’ by using a service whose profit margins are fed directly back into a vital community service.
