HYPA delivers much-needed services to some of the most disadvantaged young people in our community. While we are grateful for the government and business support we receive, there is often a shortage of funds for the projects we deliver.
By contributing to HYPA you will be changing a young person’s life forever. Your donation or bequest can be made to HYPA in general and it will be directed to the area most in need, or it can be made to a specific area of our organization that you might wish to assist.
Make a general donation
Provide urgently needed funds to projects or make a general donation to support our work. All donations over $2 are tax deductible.
Payroll giving
You can support HYPA through your company’s workplace giving scheme, provided HYPA is on their list of nominated charities. If we are not on the list, you can ask to nominate HYPA as your chosen charity.
Leave a bequest
By making a Will and bequesting money to HYPA you Will be making an everlasting investment in the lives of the young people we support. It gives you peace of mind knowing that you have made a positive contribution to those young people most in need. Without a valid Will, your property and personal possessions are distributed to your legal heirs by the government. A Will let’s you chose where your money goes. Making a Will is a relatively simple and inexpensive process. A Will must be in writing and signed before two witnesses who also must sign as witnesses. While you can make a Will yourself, having a professional prepare your Will gives you peace of mind. Solicitors usually prepare Wills for a standard set fee while The Public Trustee can also help you for a small percentage of your estate when your assets are distributed.
Become a corporate partner
There are many different ways that companies and organisations can support HYPA. We are looking to develop long term, mutually beneficial partnerships with ethical companies. If your organisation is able to make a donation greater than $5,000, you can directly support a specific HYPA project. Regular reports are provided about the project to show your staff how your support has made an impact.
