
The Therapeutic Support Team (TST) is a team of clinical practitioners (Clinical Counsellors, Psychologists and Occupational Therapists) which assesses individual job seekers and provides ongoing therapeutic counselling as required to assist them in overcoming non-vocational barriers to employment. Job seekers are referred to the service by a Job Services Provider.
TST’s suite of professional development services for staff working with disadvantaged people includes workshops on suicide awareness, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Autism Spectrum Disorders and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

A demonstration pilot project, Launch works with job seekers in the Elizabeth region in the northern suburbs of Adelaide, providing an enhanced level of service delivery for job seekers under 25 who have multiple barriers to employment. Launch provides an intensive clinical case management service, working collaboratively with a range of other services in the region to deliver better outcomes for job seekers. Launch participants are primarily drawn from SYC’s Job Prospects in Elizabeth.
